The duo introduces their own delicious pair of limited-edition treats for the upcoming season — Peppermint Mocha and Holiday Spice Gingerbread.

HONOLULU, Nov. 2, 2021 – Hawaiian Host® and Uncle’s Ice Cream join forces once again, adding an extra dose of comfort and joy to the holidays. This makes the sixth and seventh frozen cookie combo for the two kama‘āina brands.

First up is Uncle’s Peppermint Ice Cream infused with Hawaiian Host’s Peppermint Mocha Macadamias on house-made Chocolate Chip Cookies. The peppermint mocha ice cream sandwich mixes Hawaiian Host’s Paradise Collection confections (think crunchy bits of peppermint bark and chocolate covered mac nuts rolled into one) with cool and creamy ice cream from Uncle’s. Consider this the Holiday Season in a frozen treat!

But for those who prefer a bit more spice during the yuletide season, the Holiday Spice Gingerbread sandwich is a sure winner. Uncle’s Holiday Spice Ice Cream marries perfectly with crumbles of Chocolate Gingerbread Macadamia from Hawaiian Host’s Paradise Collection. Sandwiched between two delightful snickerdoodle cookies, the frozen indulgence certainly adds a feeling a warmth throughout the holidays.

Thus far, each of these ice-cream sandwich collaborations have been well received, and with the islands opening once again, we hope both locals as well as visitors will have the chance to give these two newest flavors a try.

As a refresher, the first frozen delight featured: Hawaiian Host’s Dark Chocolate Alohamacs® and Uncle’s Big Island honey ice cream; the second: Hawaiian Host’s mac nut morsels covered with milk chocolate and toasted coconut with Uncle’s creamy caramel ice cream; the third: Hawaiian Host’s Paradise Collection Milk Chocolate Kona Coffee macadamias paired with Uncle’s mocha ice cream on snickerdoodle cookies; the fourth: Hawaiian Host’s Paradise Collection dark chocolate macadamias and Uncle’s rocky road ice cream, the fifth: Double Chocolate Matcha; and now just in time for the holidays, Peppermint Mocha along with Holiday Spice Gingerbread.

Twenty-nine ABC Stores throughout O‘ahu will also be carrying them, and kama‘aina will be happy to learn that the ice cream sandwiches will again be available at twelve Foodland stores across the island.
